About The Position

Blue Rose Research is hiring an AI Partnerships Lead to build external relationships, lead and coordinate AI client work, and align AI research and advice across the firm. The role connects AI safety researchers, technologists, and philanthropic funders with policymakers, Hill staff, and political strategists. The Lead meets with AI safety organizations, funders, and allies to understand their needs and translate conversations into research questions that can be addressed through polling, message testing, and other studies. Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, the Lead coordinates AI-related projects and tracks incoming AI questions across Blue Rose to help set research priorities and turn findings into useful guidance. The Lead works with leadership and the research team to determine research priorities, share findings with partners, and help ensure research informs real decisions. The role includes frequent in-person meetings and regular travel between San Francisco and Washington, DC. Blue Rose is a remote team with offices in New York City and Washington, DC, and regular in-person meetups; there is a strong preference for the candidate to be based in San Francisco or Washington, DC. Blue Rose Research builds data and AI tools to help Democrats win elections. Its team combines engineering, data science, and political strategy to support campaigns and progressive organizations through election forecasts, advertising tests, and generative AI tools. Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States. The posting notes that resumes are being collected and active hiring will likely begin in December; role details may be revised when hiring begins.
