The successful candidate will identify customers, build executive trust, develop business cases, close strategic deals, and remain accountable for delivery, adoption, and measurable customer impact. Working closely with the founders, Forward Deployed Engineers, product team, and customer stakeholders, the Lead will translate complex finance and operations problems into AI programs that customers trust and use. This hands-on role spans executive discussions, commercial negotiations, and working sessions with process owners. The position also contributes to FlowGen’s sales and delivery practices, product direction, and customer strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in enterprise software sales, strategic partnerships, management consulting, or enterprise transformation, with demonstrated ownership of commercial growth and customer delivery.
  • A track record of originating and winning new enterprise business, including personally helping source, shape, negotiate, and close deals and explaining the outcomes delivered afterward.
  • Experience leading complex customer engagements involving multiple business and technical stakeholders; experience with Fortune 500 or Global 2000 companies is preferred in the posting.
  • Strong executive presence and analytical judgment, including the ability to translate ambiguous operational problems into quantified business cases and executable deployment plans.
  • Practical fluency with AI, automation, and enterprise software, including the ability to discuss agentic workflows, integrations, data readiness, reliability, and human oversight with technical teams and explain business implications.
  • Ability to manage parallel workstreams, surface risks early, hold owners accountable, and build customer trust through consistent follow-through.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage environment, directly supporting opportunities while building scalable processes and team practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP, ERP, finance operations, supply chain, procurement, or order management.
  • Curiosity and the ability to develop deep domain expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Own enterprise accounts end to end, including new revenue, delivery, customer outcomes, retention, and expansion.
  • Generate new opportunities through account research, direct outreach, executive relationships, referrals, and industry events.
  • Develop partnerships with technology providers, systems integrators, and industry networks to create opportunities and enter new accounts.
  • Lead discovery with finance, operations, and technology teams; understand processes, exceptions, controls, data sources, and manual workarounds; and prioritize AI workflows by value, feasibility, and organizational readiness.
  • Run the full sales cycle, including qualification, solution development, proposals, pricing, procurement, security review, negotiation, and close.
  • Build executive sponsorship and business cases for deals with six-figure-and-above ACV.
  • Align customers and internal teams on scope, success metrics, milestones, resources, and acceptance criteria, and work with engineering to confirm feasibility and delivery plans.
  • Lead customer engagements through implementation and production adoption, coordinating Forward Deployed Engineers, AI strategists, product teams, and customer stakeholders while managing dependencies, risks, scope changes, and executive communication.
  • Track measurable deployment results, including cycle-time reduction, touchless processing, error reduction, working-capital improvement, and support-cost reduction, and drive action when results fall short.
  • Build relationships with executives and frontline users; lead business reviews, resolve escalations, and convert successful deployments into renewals, references, and expansion.
  • Maintain account plans, forecasts, and CRM records.
  • Partner with founders to refine positioning, sales and delivery playbooks, and relay customer insights to the product roadmap.
