About The Position

Clayton is a single-family home builder focused on attainable housing, sustainable practices, and delivering a world-class experience for customers and team members. The Construction Project Manager supports the retail team by helping ensure timely construction completion and providing customer service. Reporting to the Home Center General Manager, this role manages construction activity in the field across all stages, including construction management, permitting, customer walk-throughs, and service coordination.

The role also involves supporting retail operations, sales professionals, company events, and marketing promotions. The Construction Project Manager contributes to a positive, collaborative team environment and assists with miscellaneous duties as required. The position is based at the Clayton Home Center in Nashville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction phase for all current deals in progress.
• Schedule all contracted work.
• Follow up with contractors and customers regarding service calls.
• Pull permits.
• Conduct customer walk-throughs.
• Manage the Home Center’s Net Promoter Score and customer service.
• Schedule setup and delivery and handle other service-related items.
• Follow up with customers using various contact methods.
• Merchandise the retail location and homes, including moving furniture and décor and cleaning homes.
• Partner with the manager on exceptions and questions.
• Protect company assets.
• Participate in sales meetings and other company events.
• Participate as needed in marketing promotions and events.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Assist other Sales Professionals as needed.
• Collaborate with the team and assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
