About The Position

Rummel Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Parts Runner for the second shift, with an approximately 2:00 PM start time and hours of approximately 2:00–10:30 PM. This safety-sensitive role supports the company’s maintenance and purchasing departments by picking up and delivering parts, supplies, and materials to jobsites throughout the valley and out of state. Deliveries help keep construction operations running. The Parts Runner operates a company motor vehicle, maintains constant communication with a dispatcher about destinations, and communicates with vendors and suppliers. The role requires automotive-parts product knowledge, an acceptable driving record, geographic navigation ability, and the ability to lift, load, and unload parts and materials. Candidates must pass DOT Medical Clearance and a regulated drug screen for a commercial motor vehicle driver in Arizona, as this role requires pulling trailers.

Requirements

Comprehensive product knowledge of automotive parts.
Acceptable driving record.
Knowledge of and ability to navigate the geographic area.
Ability to lift, load, and unload parts and materials.
Must pass DOT Medical Clearance and a regulated drug screen for a CMV driver in the State of Arizona; required to pull trailers.

Responsibilities

Operate a company motor vehicle to travel to jobsites throughout the valley and out of state.
Pick up and deliver small parts, supplies, and materials to jobsites.
Maintain constant communication with a dispatcher and advise them of destinations.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers.
Lift, load, and unload parts and materials.
