About The Position

Rummel Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Parts Runner for the second shift, approximately 2:00–10:30 PM. This safety-sensitive position supports the maintenance and purchasing departments by picking up and delivering small parts, supplies, materials, and other crucial items to jobsites around Arizona and, at times, out of state. Deliveries help keep construction operations running and support work planned for the following day. The role operates a company motor vehicle and requires ongoing communication with a dispatcher about destinations, as well as communication with vendors and suppliers. The Parts Runner must have comprehensive automotive-parts product knowledge, an acceptable driving record, geographic navigation ability, and the ability to lift, load, and unload parts and materials. The position requires passing DOT medical clearance and a regulated drug screen for a CMV driver in Arizona when pulling trailers.

Requirements

Comprehensive product knowledge of automotive parts.
An acceptable driving record.
Knowledge of or ability to navigate the geographic area.
Ability to lift, load, and unload parts and materials.
Must be able to pass DOT medical clearance and a regulated drug screen for a CMV driver in the State of Arizona when required to pull trailers.

Responsibilities

Operate a company motor vehicle to travel to jobsites throughout the valley and out of state.
Pick up and deliver small parts, supplies, materials, and other items to jobsites.
