About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician for its Dallas, Texas office. The technician performs laboratory testing on construction materials, including soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. The role includes receiving and logging samples, carrying out laboratory procedures, supporting regulatory assessments and the laboratory quality system, entering and reviewing lab data, and completing other laboratory tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; the description also states an ability to lift 50–75+ pounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log concrete and soil samples.
• Perform and understand various laboratory test procedures.
• Assist with AMRL and CCRL regulatory standards assessments.
• Assist with the Braun Quality system for the laboratory.
• Enter and understand laboratory data.
• Complete other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned.
