About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician for its Dallas, Texas office. The technician performs laboratory testing on construction materials, including soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. The position also involves handling and entering laboratory data, supporting quality-system activities and regulatory assessments, and completing other laboratory tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds; the posting also states an ability to lift 50–75+ pounds.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must complete a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log concrete and soil samples.
• Perform and understand various laboratory test procedures.
• Assist with AMRL and CCRL regulatory standards assessments.
• Assist with the Braun Quality system for the laboratory.
• Enter and understand laboratory data.
• Perform other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned.
