About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician for its Austin, Texas office. The technician performs testing on construction materials, including soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. The role includes receiving and logging samples, conducting laboratory procedures, supporting regulatory assessments and the laboratory quality system, and entering and understanding laboratory data. Other laboratory tasks may be assigned. The role requires the ability to work independently, interpret written materials and instructions, follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form, and regularly lift heavy materials. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. New hires must complete a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; the description also states an ability to lift 50–75+ pounds.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
