About The Position

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multiple commercial capital improvement, renovation, and construction projects for an automotive company with retail, service, and office locations across the Eastern United States. Projects include automotive service center expansions, service bay modifications, equipment installations, interior and exterior renovations, electrical infrastructure upgrades, and EV charging installations. The broader project portfolio includes automotive, retail, restaurant, big-box, convenience store, gas station, distribution center, and EV charging facilities, with work ranging from tenant improvements and renovations to facility expansions and ground-up construction. The role manages projects throughout the full lifecycle, from due diligence and site assessment through design coordination, approvals, permitting, bidding, construction, commissioning, and closeout. It requires substantial technical construction experience across mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil work, as well as the ability to assess building systems and infrastructure rather than focus only on cosmetic renovations. The manager coordinates internal stakeholders, operations leaders, contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and authorities, while maintaining budgets, schedules, documentation, and project quality across multiple sites. The position is based in the Eastern U.S. with regional travel, including travel to client and project sites across the U.S. of up to approximately 30%. The role can be performed from a remote location and requires the employee to provide a cell phone and internet service. No specific supervisory responsibilities are assigned.

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record without significant MVA points or violations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, work safely and in a constant state of alertness, work from a remote location, and meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Must have a cell phone and supply personal internet service.
