About The Position

Herring Construction is seeking a dependable Construction Laborer to support daily job site operations. The position assists skilled tradespeople, prepares work areas, handles materials, and helps maintain a safe and organized job site. Work is outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven surfaces. Duties may involve prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting or carrying construction materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean job sites, including removing debris and construction waste.
• Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist carpenters and other skilled tradespeople with construction tasks.
• Dig trenches, shovel materials, and assist with site preparation.
• Use hand and power tools safely and as directed.
• Set up and take down temporary barriers and other job site materials.
• Maintain tools and equipment and report damage or safety concerns.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work with the crew to complete assigned tasks.
• Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
