About The Position

The Construction Coordinator 1 is responsible for the daily supervision and functioning of one construction project and/or one crew. The project is in the Blue Ridge area, and the employer is looking for someone located within a reasonable distance of Payson or Blue Ridge.

The role includes field verification of project work, checking daily work quality and quantity, maintaining crew performance standards and the contract schedule, handling project administration and documentation, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. Other related duties may be assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to complete assignments without supervision and self-direct daily activities.
• Organized and motivated to provide project support as directed.
• Conscientious professional with a pleasant phone manner and excellent organizational skills.
• 1–3 years of previous field construction experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Field-verify the location and nature of work by visiting the project.
• Confirm the quality and quantity of work completed at the end of each day.
• Maintain acceptable performance standards and metrics for the crew working on the project.
• Maintain the contract schedule.
• Complete administrative functions necessary to document work, including ordering and tracking supplies, billing, hours, and safety documents.
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed at all times.
• Perform other related work as assigned, using available resources to achieve established goals.
