About The Position

Responsible for the daily supervision and functioning of one construction project and/or one crew on a construction project. The role supports both RDOF/large builds and BAU for Spectrum. The position includes field verification, quality and production monitoring, schedule maintenance, project documentation and administration, and ensuring safety practices are followed. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Must be located within a reasonable distance of Louisville, Kentucky.
• Recent experience supporting larger fiber builds.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to complete assignments without supervision and self-direct daily activities.
• Organized and motivated to provide project support as directed.
• Conscientious professional with a pleasant phone manner and excellent organizational skills.
• One to three years of previous field telecom construction experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Field-verify the location and nature of work being performed by visiting the project.
• Confirm the quality and quantity of work completed at the end of each day.
• Maintain acceptable performance standards and metrics for the crew working on the project.
• Maintain the contract schedule.
• Complete administrative functions needed to document work, including ordering and tracking supplies, billing, hours, and safety documents.
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed at all times.
• Perform other related work as assigned, using available resources to achieve established goals.
