About The Position

Cypress Cove is seeking a service-oriented Concierge team member for a PRN position working 10–15 hours per week. Weekend availability is required. The Concierge welcomes and assists visitors and callers, supports residents, and performs front-desk and clerical tasks while maintaining the confidentiality of resident information. Cypress Cove is a 60-acre Life Plan Community (CCRC) offering independent and assisted living, memory care, long-term care, and rehabilitation. The community describes its resident-staff rapport as engaging and friendly.

Requirements

Service-oriented attitude, patience, and genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for communicating with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, including computer records, paperwork, and medication information kept at the front desk.
Availability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce them to appropriate personnel.
Operate a multi-line phone system, answer incoming calls, and direct callers to appropriate areas.
Answer questions about the organization and provide callers with the address, directions, and other information.
Maintain resident phone and away lists.
Create work order requests for maintenance and housekeeping services using the WorxHub system.
Book and maintain guest room reservations.
Perform clerical duties as needed, including filing, photocopying, maintaining spreadsheets, and retrieving resident information from Point Click Care.
Manage outgoing postal mail.
Accept and log pharmacy orders.
Notify residents about pharmacy items and dry cleaning.
