About The Position

The Concierge serves as a welcoming and helpful presence in the community, providing personalized assistance and support to residents and their families. The role includes greeting visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere, logging deliveries, answering phones, taking messages for the administrative team, patrolling exterior grounds, performing light housekeeping, and assisting the care team with resident needs. The Concierge helps enhance the community’s overall safety and daily flow, and performs reception and security duties during the evening shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience in residential care.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge and understanding of the services provided by the community.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff in residents’ best interests.
• Problem-solving ability to address concerns or complaints promptly and to move quickly between tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and support as a knowledgeable resource for residents and visitors.
• Perform reception and security duties during the evening shift.
• Promote resident and staff safety.
• Assist with resident requests and resolve issues, or escalate them to other department members as needed.
• Assist with resident transfers and nightly care.
• Perform housekeeping, security rounds, and reception work.
• Greet visitors, log deliveries, answer phones, and take messages for the administrative team.
• Patrol the exterior grounds and assist the care team with resident needs.
