About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a site in Durham, North Carolina. This customer-service-focused role works with people in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position emphasizes building connections and helping visitors feel welcome and confident.

Two full-time schedules are offered: Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; or Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by Monday and Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $19.65. DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. GardaWorld Security Services provides equal employment opportunities in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

• Hold an active PPSB license.
• Have CPR certification.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
