About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Shift Security Supervisor for a concierge security post in Durham, North Carolina. The role emphasizes customer service and building connections with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position involves welcoming and assisting visitors while helping protect people and property.

Two full-time schedules are listed: Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; or Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by Monday and Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The hourly wage is $19.65. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Active PPSB license.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of an extensive screening process.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
