About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for an access control post in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while working with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The officer welcomes visitors, verifies identities, guides people, manages access, patrols the site, and helps protect individuals and property. The posting offers both a full-time weekday overnight schedule and a part-time weekend overnight schedule. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have at least 6 months of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Have a Class D guard license.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
