About The Position

The Security Officer - Access Control helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The role observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The position requires a valid Ohio driver's license and driver certification. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit. Security positions are available full-time and part-time. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements.

Requirements

Valid Ohio driver's license.
Driver certification required.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.
