About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Modesto, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents. The role includes communicating professionally with employees and visitors, supporting facility operations, and providing customer service as part of a collaborative, people-first team. This is a full-time position with a stated pay rate of $22.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
Screen and direct vendors, contractors, and delivery drivers according to procedures for a food and beverage manufacturing environment.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated facility areas and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized access.
