About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer focused on access control and customer service. The officer will welcome and assist visitors, verify identities, manage access, patrol the site, identify risks, respond to incidents, and help protect people and property. The position is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The posting lists a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (40 hours), and a separate part-time schedule of Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (16 hours). The stated wage is $19.00 per hour. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have at least 6 months of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Hold a Class D guard license.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
