About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Chevy Chase, Maryland. This customer-service-focused security role involves working with people in settings such as corporate office buildings, hotels, and shopping centers. The position requires experience in a corporate multistory office building. Scheduling is flexible and based on site needs; open availability is required for weekdays and weekends, including mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off and schedules may vary, and full-time hours are not guaranteed. The hourly wage is $27.00. A uniform is provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. Benefits depend in part on hours worked.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have at least three years of security, military, and/or law enforcement experience.
• Hold a Maryland Guard Card.
• Be at least 21 years old, as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
• Hold CPR/First Aid certification.
• Have basic phone and computer skills and computer literacy.
• Successfully complete a 40-hour basic training course.
• Have experience working in a corporate multistory office building.
• Be available to work weekdays and weekends, including mornings, evenings, and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
