About The Position

Guardian Service Industries is hiring a part-time experienced concierge floater for a luxury building. The role requires high-end experience and at least one year of concierge experience. The position is described as covering all shifts, seven days a week, at a pay rate of $23.08 per hour.

Depending on the role and building, the concierge interacts with residents, guests, and vendors; handles day-to-day requests and complaints; supports building operations; tracks keys; monitors security and responds to concerns or emergencies; manages packages and deliveries; and maintains shift logs for handovers. Additional requirements may vary by building and location. Employees must successfully pass a background check upon hire.

Requirements

• At least one year of concierge experience; applicants without relevant experience will not be considered.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand for six or more hours.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work in changing environments and schedules.
• Ability to meet satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards.
• Reliable and consistent transportation to and from work sites.
• Must successfully pass a background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interact positively with residents, guests, and vendors, assisting with day-to-day requests and resolving complaints.
• Communicate with building management and other staff to support smooth daily operations.
• Log and track concierge and building keys for resident use and move-ins or move-outs.
• Maintain building safety and security, including monitoring security cameras, responding promptly to emergencies and concerns, exercising sound judgment, and escalating issues immediately.
• Log and distribute package deliveries and handle external vendor deliveries.
• Maintain accurate and complete shift logs to ensure effective communication during shift changes.
