About The Position

Kiawah River is hiring a Concierge Attendant for the Spring House, an amenity in its waterfront community on Johns Island. The Spring House includes pools, an outdoor spa, a pool bar, a dining room, event space, a fitness facility, locker rooms, and saunas. The Concierge Attendant welcomes homeowners and guests as one of their first points of contact, answers questions, provides directions, and responds to requests. The role supports a positive guest experience through personalized service, reservation and fob assistance, phone coverage, towel service, and retail transactions. The position calls for adaptability and a willingness to learn the operations of a developing facility. The schedule is flexible and may include weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on clubhouse events and peak times.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a hospitable environment; experience in a clubhouse, restaurant, or similar venue is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen and empathize.
• Organization and time-management skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving ability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clubhouse, restaurant, or similar venue.

Responsibilities

• Maintain updated knowledge of general Kiawah River Development directions.
• Greet and welcome Spring House homeowners and guests.
• Assist with cabana and daybed reservation management.
• Maintain positive ongoing relationships with guests, personalizing interactions when possible.
• Assist with fob pickups and requests.
• Multitask and prioritize to meet guests’ needs.
• Represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
• Answer the Spring House phone, take messages, and follow through on requests.
• Assist with towel service, including rental transactions and returning soiled towels to the designated location for laundering.
• Maintain retail items for sale and handle associated sales transactions.
