About The Position

The Concierge Attendant will be responsible for handling guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction, adhering to payment and cash handling policies, greeting and escorting guests, and maintaining knowledge of menu items and liquor brands. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and setup of the M Club (Concierge) Lounge and reporting any shortages. The attendant will inspect the lounge environment and entrance area to ensure standards are met and rectify any deficiencies. Additionally, they will inspect tables and buffet setups throughout meal periods to ensure they meet department standards.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum one year customer service experience.
Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

Courteously greet and welcome guests to the M Club Lounge, ensuring hotel's standards of service.
Engage with customers and create personal connections by assisting with concierge needs such as directions, local recommendations, etc.
Facilitate guest use of the M Club’s technology offerings and concierge amenities.
Assist in preparing the M Club for breakfast buffet service, all day snack and evening offerings appropriate for the scheduled shift.
Maintain the cleanliness of the room at all times.
Monitor and anticipate the guests' needs and all phases of the operation; including assisting guests with the coffee machine or taking alcoholic drink orders.
