About The Position

The Buffalo Marriott LECOM HARBORCENTER is seeking a Guestroom Attendant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms, handling guest requests and complaints, and ensuring adherence to all hotel and safety procedures. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities and requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
Report any maintenance deficiencies.
Handle guest requests or complaints.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
Observe all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
Clean and service assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
Return and restock cart at end of shift.
Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned.
