About The Position
The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments in public spaces. This role involves observing all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures. The Houseperson will clean and service assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards, return and restock carts at the end of the shift, and complete additional deep cleaning/seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum one year cleaning experience.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities
- Clean hotel public areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
- Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
- Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
