About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Concessions Supervisor for Zulu Grille. The role provides supervision, leadership, and support to the Concessions department and assists with all functions and aspects of department management. The supervisor manages and maintains guest satisfaction in concession areas while delivering high-quality service, consistent product standards, and a welcoming atmosphere. The position also supports, guides, and inspires associates, promotes teamwork, and fosters a positive and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant is required.
Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively.
State or local law may require completion of an alcohol awareness or safety class and state-certified proper food-handling certification.

Nice To Haves

General food and beverage knowledge, including at least one year of front-of-the-house operations and/or supervisory experience in a hotel or resort setting, is preferred.
Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director, and understand the policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for the resort’s food and beverage outlets.
Communicate expectations to restaurant associates and enforce applicable policies and procedures.
Fill in as an associate where needed to meet guest-service standards and maintain efficient daily operations.
Develop, coach, and train staff in professional development.
Inspect equipment and maintain it in clean, excellent working condition by following preventative maintenance programs.
Assist with department management and maintain guest satisfaction in concession areas.
