About The Position

Legends Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Floor Supervisor for Legends Global at the Alamodome. This position reports directly to the Concessions Manager and is responsible for the supervision and direction of NPO Groups, SUB-Contractors, and temporary labor employees in their duties of general building cleaning, as well as event rooms, event locations, hall set-ups, and breakdowns as required by clients.

Requirements

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
Must be able to work fluently in English
Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps.
Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Possess a strong working knowledge of facility housekeeping standards and practices as well as public assembly facility set-up requirements.
Possess a strong attention to detail and the ability and initiative to maintain the facility as a first-class facility.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Person must be able to lift and move heavy objects of varying weight and size.
Ability to effectively supervise a crew of custodial workers.
Ability to read and write in English.
Ability to motivate employees to maintain a high morale and positive attitude.
Ability to handle more than one task at a time by prioritizing tasks.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual skills in English and Spanish desired

Responsibilities

Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of event staff.
Directly manage event day staff while having direct interaction with customers.
Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory.
Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures.
Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
Ensure all cash/alcohol handling procedures are documented and enforced.
Conduct physical audit of inventory and product, research and perform reconciliations.
Supervises a crew of NPO Groups, SUB-Contractors and temporary labor employees.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems with employees in conjunction with Human Resources.
