About The Position

The Concessions Attendant supports theatre operations under the direction of the theatre management team and helps ensure high guest satisfaction and a clean theatre. The role involves serving guests in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner. The position reports to a member of the theatre management team or the General Manager, depending on location. The attendant sells and prepares food and beverage orders, processes transactions, fills online concession orders, and maintains concession areas. They follow company and local food-safety requirements, cleaning procedures, and social-distancing guidelines; respond to guest questions and concerns; and support company programs and other duties assigned by management. Work takes place in a theatre environment with moderate to high noise levels, occasionally loud. A face mask is required during scheduled working hours.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, identify their requests, complete transactions and loyalty transactions, and thank guests.
Sell food and beverage items at the concession stand.
Meet sales expectations through loyalty sign-ups, suggestive selling, upselling, and sampling.
Operate point-of-sale terminals and make accurate change.
Prepare food and beverage orders according to company and local food-safety policies.
Fill online concession orders and prepare them for pickup.
Perform daily concession maintenance, including stocking.
Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Clean and sanitize concession and beverage areas for guests and associates.
Monitor and communicate social-distancing guidelines.
Provide friendly, helpful, and fast guest service; answer questions and resolve concerns.
Uphold Marcus' standards and execute company-wide programs.
Assist with other functions as instructed by the General Manager or a member of the management team.
