About The Position

Under the direction of the theatre management team, the Concessions Attendant supports theatre operations while ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and theatre cleanliness. Duties are performed in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner. The position reports to a member of the theatre management team or the General Manager; reporting arrangements may vary by location. The role involves greeting guests and completing transactions, selling and preparing food and beverages, fulfilling online orders, maintaining and cleaning concession areas, and responding to guest questions or concerns. Associates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. The work is performed in a theatre environment, with noise typically moderate to high and occasionally loud. A face mask is required during scheduled working hours.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, identify their requests, complete transactions and loyalty transactions, and thank them.
Sell food and beverage items at the concession stand.
Meet sales expectations through loyalty card sign-ups, suggestive selling, upselling, and sampling.
Operate point-of-sale terminals and make accurate change.
Prepare food and beverage orders in accordance with company food-safety policies and local regulatory requirements.
Fill online concession orders and prepare them for pickup.
Perform daily concession maintenance, including stocking.
Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Clean and sanitize concession and beverage areas for guests and associates.
Monitor and communicate social distancing guidelines.
Provide friendly, helpful, and fast guest service; answer questions and resolve concerns.
Uphold Marcus' standards and execute company-wide programs.
Assist with other functions as instructed by the General Manager or a member of the management team.
