About The Position

The Concessions Attendant supports theatre operations under the direction of the theatre management team and helps maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and theatre cleanliness. Duties are performed in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner. The position reports to a member of the theatre management team or the General Manager, depending on location. The role involves serving guests at the concession stand, preparing food and beverages, handling sales and loyalty transactions, maintaining concession areas, and following company and local food-safety and sanitation policies. Associates must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Other duties may be assigned by the General Manager or management team.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, identify their requests, complete transactions and loyalty transactions, and thank guests.
Sell food and beverage items at the concession stand.
Meet sales expectations through loyalty card sign-ups, suggestive selling, upselling, and sampling.
Operate point-of-sale terminals and make accurate change.
Prepare food and beverage orders in accordance with company food-safety policies and local regulatory requirements.
Fill online concession orders and prepare them for pickup.
Perform daily concession maintenance, including stocking.
Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Clean and sanitize concession and beverage areas for guests and associates.
Monitor and communicate social-distancing guidelines.
Provide friendly, helpful, and fast guest service.
Answer guest questions and resolve concerns.
Uphold Marcus' standards and carry out company-wide programs.
Assist with other functions as instructed by the General Manager or a member of the management team.
