About The Position

Under the direction of the theatre management team, the Concessions Attendant supports theatre operations and helps ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and theatre cleanliness. Tasks are performed in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner. The position reports to a member of the theatre management team or the General Manager; reporting may vary by location. The role involves serving guests, selling and preparing food and beverages, completing transactions, maintaining and cleaning concession areas, and following company and local food-safety and sanitation requirements. Associates must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is performed in a theatre environment with noise that is usually moderate to high and occasionally loud. A face mask is required during scheduled working hours. The schedule is flexible and includes late evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, identify their requests, complete loyalty transactions, and thank them.
Sell food and beverage items at the concession stand.
Meet sales expectations through loyalty card sign-ups, suggestive selling, upselling, and sampling.
Operate point-of-sale terminals and make accurate change.
Prepare food and beverage orders according to company food-safety policies and local regulatory requirements.
Fill online concession orders and prepare them for pickup.
Perform daily concession maintenance, including stocking.
Follow instructions for safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Clean and sanitize concession stands and beverage areas for guests and associates.
Monitor and communicate social-distancing guidelines.
Provide friendly, helpful, and fast guest service; answer questions and resolve concerns.
Uphold Marcus' standards and execute company-wide programs.
Assist with other functions as instructed by the General Manager or a member of the management team.
