About The Position
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and Assistant Program Coordinator, the Concession Supervisor assists with oversight of concession stands and employees. This seasonal position requires flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. The supervisor oversees concession employees and schedules, trains staff in cash handling, point-of-sale operations, and safe food handling, and helps operate concession services in accordance with applicable health standards and City policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One season of cash handling and customer service experience.
- One season of supervisory experience.
- Currently certified with TABC and Texas Food Handlers.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Supervise concession employees and schedules, and review and submit employees’ time worked.
- Train concession employees on cash handling procedures, cash register processes, point-of-sale operations, and safe food handling.
- Stock and maintain inventory of concession items.
- Monitor inventory of beverages, food items, and general supplies, and report discrepancies.
- Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system.
- Allocate funds within a prescribed budget and complete daily cash reports.
- Maintain a sanitary concession environment and follow and ensure compliance with Bell County Health Department standards.
- Prepare, operate, and close the concession stand.
- Adhere to the City's customer service standards.
- Attend required program staff meetings and trainings.
- Follow City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
