About The Position

The Lions Junction Waterpark seeks a Food and Beverage Attendant to provide food and beverage services and clean and maintain service areas. This is a seasonal position starting its second season. The attendant must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays, and must have current TABC and Texas Food Handlers certifications.

Requirements

• Completion of three years of high school.
• One summer of experience as a food and beverage attendant or in a related area.
• Currently certified with TABC and Texas Food Handlers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages while ensuring accuracy.
• Adhere to the City's customer service standards.
• Assist with food preparation and cooking.
• Stock and control product inventory and operate the concessions area.
• Clean food preparation areas, the grill, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain accurate sales records through proper operation of the cash register and POS system.
• Operate the POS terminal to enter customer orders, accept cash or credit card payments, and enter amounts received.
• Assist with pool parties and other functions, and work slides and the front gate as assigned.
• Assist with slide dispatch and welcome table duties as needed.
• Follow City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
