About The Position

Under general supervision, operates computer and peripheral equipment. Performs clerical and maintenance tasks in support of a mainframe computer complex or other large centralized IT system. Under limited supervision, monitors BPE/TPE transactions, all environmental, security, electrical & UPS systems. Checks the network systems to ensure statewide access. Works with vendors for hw/sw. Ensure all printed output is of high quality and defect free.

Requirements

Completion of either a two-year certificate/degree from a college, university, or technical school in an IT field or equivalent work experience in IT.
Experience as Computer Operator in a large Data Center (2 Years).
Experience with a Network Operations Center (NOC) (2 Years).
Experience with Production Control (2 Years).
Experience with Control-M (2 Years).
Experience with TPE/BPE Manager (2 Years).
Experience with security in a Data Center (2 Years).
Experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) in a Data Center (2 Years).
Experience with electrical power in a Data Center including generators and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) (2 Years).
Experience with a raised floor in a Data Center (2 Years).
Experience with fire detection and fire suppression systems in a Data Center (2 Years).
Experience with Change Management policies, procedures, and software (2 Years).
Experience with Incident/Problem Management policies, procedures, and software (2 Years).
Experience with Asset Management policies, procedures, and software (2 Years).
Experience with Networks, such as LAN/WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, and SNA (2 Years).
Experience with Microsoft Office (2 Years).
Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) (2 Years).
Experience with automated job schedulers (2 Years).
Experience with hardware/software maintenance contracts (2 Years).
Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (2 Years).
Experience with distributed servers running AIX, LINUX, and Windows (2 Years).
