About The Position

Operates computer equipment and monitors production activities according to predefined procedures. Process workload according to pre-defined procedures; maintain computer room/building security; maintain production processing cycles and tape library records; and maintain service backups. Provides assistance and guidance to operator trainees as needed.

Requirements

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient analytical and mathematical skills; proficient communicative and interpersonal relations skills.
• Moderate computer skills and knowledge of software systems required.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Polices procedures in effect and reports any violations to Systems Services.
• Monitors security of data center and the building according to defined security procedures.
• Files incident reports accurately and timely when required.
• Constantly verifies that established production checkpoint procedures are followed.
• Produces microfiche and distributes reports accurately and timely.
• Maintains good communication with staff operating the sorter and printer.
• On-call for Systems Services 24x7.
