About The Position

Under general supervision, operates computer and peripheral equipment. Performs clerical and maintenance tasks in support of a mainframe computer complex or other large centralized IT system. Under limited supervision, monitors BPE/TPE transactions, all environmental, security, electrical & UPS systems. Checks the network systems to ensure statewide access. Works with vendors for hw/sw. Ensure all printed output is of high quality and defect free.

Requirements

• Vocational/Technical degree in a related field from an accredited college AND 2 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Significant experience as a Computer Operations Operator in a large data center.
• Exp w/a Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Exp w/production control.
• Exp with distributed servers running AIX, Linux, and Windows.
• Exp w/data center security, HVAC and electrical in a data center.
• Exp w/Control-M, TPE/BPE Manager.
