About The Position

The Compliance and Audit Intern supports Lindt’s Internal Control and Compliance programs, helping ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). The role contributes to internal and external audits, risk assessments, and control testing to strengthen the company’s governance and compliance framework.

The position is based at Lindt USA headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire. Interns and co-ops are expected to work onsite four to five days per week, depending on the role. The twelve-week summer Lindternship program provides hands-on experience, a mentor, professional career development workshops and sessions, and networking events.

Requirements

• Prior internship and/or project experience in process- and results-oriented positions.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong project management skills.
• Highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High proficiency with Excel.
• Currently a sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled in an accredited university degree program.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the company will not sponsor work visas.
• Must successfully pass a background screening and may be required to pass drug screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Database knowledge.
• Understanding of audit methodologies, risk-based auditing, and control testing.
• A focus in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Support the LICS Champion in maintaining a strong internal control framework and policies.
• Support testing cycles and the internal control assessment program while working with internal control owners.
• Support the Compliance Champion with training reporting and requests.
• Support the interim external audit.
• Support internal audits.
• Assist with GRC and Master Data Compliance requests.
