About The Position

The Manager, Internal Audit and Compliance (IAC) is the Director/Chief Audit Executive’s principal partner in a newly established function at Caturus. This hands-on, builder role helps develop the department’s processes and standards, shifting between internal audit and compliance program work as the plan requires while maintaining appropriate independence between the two functions. The manager assesses the company’s risk environment, designs and leads internal audits, helps manage Internal Audit and SOX co-sourcing partners, and builds out IAC processes. The manager serves as the Director’s designee in the Director’s absence and helps represent IAC to management and external auditors. Caturus is a Houston-based private exploration and production company founded by Kimmeridge, an alternative asset manager focused on energy. Its platform includes upstream operations and Commonwealth LNG, a planned 9.5-million-tonnes-per-annum liquefied natural gas export terminal in southwestern Louisiana. The organizations aim to provide responsibly sourced, low-emission fuel and maintain a strong focus on safety and environmental standards.
