Compliance Analyst (Market Surveillance)

The role will report to the European Head of Compliance and will involve overseeing the compliance program for regulated investment firms in the EU and UK, with a focus on market abuse surveillance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reviewing market abuse alerts using automated tools, collaborating with colleagues to enhance compliance monitoring capabilities, and contributing to regulatory risk assessment.

• Lead the management and review of market abuse alerts using automated/technology tools
• Collaborate with Compliance colleagues to enhance compliance monitoring capabilities
• Contribute to Compliance's regulatory risk and horizon scanning initiatives
• Engage with stakeholders in the escalation of surveillance alerts and patterns
• Support the development of the firm's governance arrangements and internal control framework through the development of policies and procedures
• Promote a compliance culture throughout the firm
• Participate in global collaborative efforts

• Experience in market abuse surveillance
• Knowledge of MiFID activities and rule books
• Familiarity with RTO, order execution, MTF, SI, and market making activity
• Ability to lead the management and review of market abuse alerts using automated/technology tools
• Collaboration with Compliance colleagues to enhance compliance monitoring capabilities
• Understanding of regulatory risk and horizon scanning initiatives
• Ability to engage with stakeholders for the escalation of surveillance alerts and patterns
• Contribution to the development of governance arrangements and internal control framework through policies and procedures
• Promotion of a compliance culture throughout the firm
• Participation in global collaborative efforts
