About the position
The Manager of Analytics team is responsible for organizing and leading a team that delivers equity, fixed income, and foreign exchange transaction cost analyses to institutional asset managers. This role involves conducting research into the effectiveness of investment management processes and practices, as well as developing business requirements for Virtu's TCA product suite. The manager will also support the existing client base and generate ad-hoc analysis to address client needs. Overall, the role focuses on providing sophisticated data analytics and risk models to empower decision-making and improve risk mitigation in the investment process.
Responsibilities
- Manage the team that supports the existing client base (~60 clients) in their use of Virtu’s pre- and post-trade analytics services (including client satisfaction)
- Support Global Clients that have a presence regionally but may not be an explicit client of the region
- Generate ad-hoc analysis to answer senior management questions within the client, including marketing materials and presentations to best execution committees
- Provide high touch consulting to regionally based clients
- Manage the regional sales process of all Analytic Products
- Provide Pre and Post Trade Analytics to the regional Desk
- Manage the client service team and provide day-to-day support and guidance to client service analysts. Provide mentoring and training where needed
- Analyze pre and post trading performance for both internal and external clients
