About The Position

The Community Services Coordinator (CSC) advances USTA’s mission to grow tennis and inspire healthier people and communities. Working within a designated territory, the CSC provides consultation, business development strategies, and customized service to local tennis providers and organizers, while cultivating partnerships with non-tennis organizations to expand participation. The position also manages one or more Community Services programs. This opening particularly seeks candidates with experience or knowledge in Coach Education and USTA Coaching, though this knowledge is preferred rather than essential. Residency in either the Greater Austin or Greater Houston territory is required. The CSC works with the Director of Community Services, USTA Section and National staff, volunteers, Community Tennis Associations, tennis directors and providers, coaches, and physical education teachers. The role includes customer service, program and workshop management, community outreach, event coordination, administrative reporting, and budget management. It requires travel and work during evenings and weekends as needed, approximately 50% of the time. USTA Texas offers a hybrid work approach combining remote work with in-office collaboration. The salary is commensurate with education and experience. Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, salary requirements, and three references with contact information to the Director of Community Services.
