About The Position

Calyx Living is seeking an enthusiastic, sales-driven, competitive, and success-motivated Community Sales Director to drive continued growth at its assisted living community in North Durham, off the Eno River. The role is the primary driver of community census growth, generating occupancy through community engagement, events, networking, referral development, and persistent follow-up with prospects.

The Community Sales Director manages sales leads through the sales cycle, oversees the resident move-in process from start to finish, and establishes and executes strategic marketing plans. The role also builds market awareness by coordinating and participating in community events, particularly on weekends during the pre- and post-opening sales phase.

Requirements

• At least 3 to 5 years of sales experience.
• Excellent written and conversational communication skills.
• Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce or Yardi.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with the standards and work ethic that entails.
• At least an associate's degree.
• Highly motivated, goals-focused, and success-driven.
• Organized, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing demands.
• Articulate and persuasive in person and in writing.
• Creative, able to solve problems, and empathetic.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
• Experience in senior living, health care, real estate, or hospitality sales.

Responsibilities

• Drive community census and occupancy growth.
