About The Position

Berger Communities is hiring a Community Manager for Apartments at River View in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Community Manager leads the property’s operations and onsite team, works to achieve financial and leasing results, and creates a welcoming community and strong resident experience. The position is full-time, salaried/exempt, and pays $75,000–$80,000 annually, paid biweekly, with opportunities for annual, renewal, occupancy, and leasing bonuses.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Company-paid parking is provided. Requirements

• Two years of property management experience.
• Property management or multifamily housing experience.
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team.
• Strong leasing, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• An associate degree or bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma/GED with equivalent experience and industry certifications (CAM or ARM).

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall financial performance of the community.
• Set and achieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goals.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing onsite team.
• Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning.
• Oversee the full resident lifecycle, from prospect to renewal.
• Ensure rent collection and manage delinquency and legal processes as needed.
• Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal, apartment readiness, and community standards.
• Stay informed on the Cleveland multifamily market and competitive properties.
• Create a positive resident experience through strong customer service and community engagement.
• Drive leasing success through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs.
