Service Technician - Apartments at River View
About The Position
Berger Communities is hiring a full-time Service Technician for Apartments at River View in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role is focused on maintaining the apartment community, responding to resident service needs, preparing vacant homes for move-in, and keeping shared spaces in good condition. The schedule is Monday through Friday and includes a rotating on-call schedule, with on-call responsibilities one week every other week. Company-paid parking is provided. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour, paid biweekly, with monthly renewal bonuses, work order completion bonuses, and a $140-per-week on-call bonus.
Responsibilities
- Handle service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings.
- Prepare vacant homes for move-in.
- Maintain the grounds, amenities, and common areas.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Assist with snow removal and participate in rotating on-call shifts.
- Provide residents with friendly, professional service.
