About The Position
Berger Communities is hiring a Community Manager for Village Square Apartments in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The role leads the property's operations and financial performance while creating a welcoming community and delivering an exceptional resident experience. The Community Manager develops and motivates the onsite team, drives leasing and retention, manages budgets and capital planning, and takes ownership of the community's results. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Property management or multifamily housing experience.
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team.
- Strong leasing, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- A positive, team-oriented leader who takes ownership and pride in their community.
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property management software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall financial performance of the community.
- Set and achieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goals.
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing onsite team.
- Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning.
- Oversee the full resident lifecycle, from prospect to renewal.
- Ensure rent collection and manage delinquency and legal processes as needed.
- Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal, apartment readiness, and community standards.
- Stay informed on the Cleveland multifamily market and competitive properties.
- Create a positive resident experience through strong customer service and community engagement.
- Drive leasing success through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs.
