The Community Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned property, including staff, daily activities, and resources, to meet budgeted financial and operational goals and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable housing laws and regulations. The position is for a stabilized, 367-unit midrise property. The role contributes to budget development; manages revenue, rent collection, financial reporting, vendor invoices, and expenditures; and oversees leasing, lease enforcement, marketing, occupancy, and resident retention. It also supervises property staff, ensures the property and amenities meet safety and appearance standards, supports the client/owner relationship, and completes accounting, administrative, and other reports. California-based Community Managers also use a state-specific lease file checklist to ensure lease documents are complete, compliant, and organized. The work is based in an office with frequent possible exposure to outdoor conditions. Physical access to all areas of the community and amenities is required. Routine local travel may be necessary for bank deposits, training, outreach events, and other work duties. The posted salary range is $85,000–$95,000, with possible performance-based bonuses for onsite property roles.
