About The Position

Berger Communities is hiring a Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and performance of a residential community. The role focuses on creating a welcoming community and exceptional resident experience while developing a high-performing onsite team and achieving leasing, occupancy, retention, and financial goals. Requirements

Property management or multifamily housing experience.
Leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall financial performance of the community.
Set and achieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goals.
Build, develop, and lead a high-performing onsite team.
Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning.
Oversee the full resident lifecycle, from prospect through renewal.
Ensure rent collection and manage delinquency and legal processes as needed.
Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal, apartment readiness, and community standards.
Stay informed about the local multifamily market and competitive properties.
Create a positive resident experience through strong customer service and community engagement.
Drive leasing success through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs.
