Community Manager, Russia (Part-Time)

The job overview for the position of Russian Community Manager at Ava Labs is to be the driving force behind creating a vibrant community presence, both online and in person. The role involves managing and growing the community via social media, translating announcements between Russian and English, localizing marketing and brand strategy for the Russian audience, setting up local and virtual events, staying informed on trends, and monitoring and reporting feedback. The ideal candidate should have leadership or community management experience, deep immersion in one of the cultures (e.g., DeFi, Gaming, Trading/Alpha), proficiency in English and Russian, and a desire to learn and engage with others.

• Manage and grow the community via social media and provide support with answering any questions
• Translate any and all announcements on Telegram, Twitter, and other social platforms to/from Russian and English languages
• Ensure that marketing and brand strategy are localized and adjusted for a Russian audience
• Help to set up local and virtual events that interact with the Russian market including hosting virtual Avalanche AMA’s and meetups to build brand awareness and engagement
• Stay informed on trends in your area
• Monitor and report feedback
• Minimum of 1+ years of demonstrated experience in Leadership, Teaching, or Community Management
• Deep immersion in one of the cultures (e.g., DeFi, Gaming, Trading/Alpha), bonus for connections for partnerships and collaborations
• Commit to working 20 hours per week
• Proficient in English and Russian
• A desire to learn, grow, and take on new skill sets
• Above all must enjoy hanging out with the community and engaging with others
