About The Position

The Community Liaison is responsible for analyzing the potential of the company's service area to determine target markets. This role involves visiting doctor's offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other potential referral sources to present agency credentials and obtain patient referrals. The liaison will also analyze the company's organization, marketing data, product line, and patient/company relationships. Key responsibilities include developing sales/marketing objectives, sales projections, and a marketing plan with priorities and a timetable, followed by implementation and evaluation. The role also entails attending IDG meetings as appropriate, assisting office staff with tasks such as obtaining signatures from physicians' offices, and providing community outreach and education.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Marketing: 1 year (Required)
  • Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to proficiently multi-task.
  • Ability to access patients’ homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible is required.
  • Physical activities will include, walking sitting, stooping, and standing.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the potential of the company’s service area to determine target markets.
  • Visit Doctor offices, hospitals, Assisted Living facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and other possible sources of referrals to present Agency credentials and obtain patient referrals.
  • Analyze the company’s organization to determine its strengths and weaknesses.
  • Analyze past and current marketing data.
  • Complete an analysis of the company’s “product” line.
  • Analyze patient/company relationships.
  • Develop sales/marketing objectives and sales projections.
  • Develop a marketing plan, identifying priorities and sets a reasonable timetable.
  • Implement marketing plan staying within established timetable.
  • Review and evaluate the analyses and plan on an established basis.
  • Attend IDG meetings, as appropriate.
  • Assist office staff as needed with going to Physician’s offices to obtain signatures, drop off IDG updates, etc.
  • Provide community outreach and education.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
